April 24, 2007--Stuff

I am taking a leave of absence from moderating. I really enjoy it, but lately I've just had so many other things to do I haven't had the time to spend online that I used to. Some days I don't log in at all, other days I don't get on until noon (like today) and only spend a few minutes on at a time. I just can't properly moderate unless I can commit more time, and I just don't have the time at this point in my life. The kids are in 4-H this year, and they are getting ready for "Share the Fun" in a couple of weeks, which is a 4-H talent show. Their club is doing a group act and practicing twice a week, and Joy is going to be doing V'Ahavta with three of my sisters. Sarah is only a mini 4-Her so she can only be in the bigger group acts. It's kind of a complicated dance, though. I choreographed it for the older girls at the Passover dinner, so she's going to have to work hard to learn it. I think she can do it, though. This week we're going through all the clothes, and I'm also working on finishing up the quilts I'm making for LisaP. I've got the pink one finished, the blue one put together and basted and in the process of being quilted (it's in my sewing machine now) and the purple top done and ready to put together. I think I'll be able to mail them all out on Saturday. I need to remember to get her address again, though. Someone removed it from my address book for some reason.
