We've been pretty busy lately and I've barely had time to get on here. Right
after we moved we had to hurry up and get 4-H projects finished up because the
fair was the next weekend. We managed to get done in time, although Jay's
woodworking project almost didn't make it. It really needed to be sanded down
and repainted but we just didn't have time. That was the only project the kids
showed that got a red ribbon.
Each of the my kids that are in regular
4-H got a champion this year, so they will all three be going to the state fair.
I'm so proud of them! Here are there champion projects. The first is Jay's
electricity project--a magnetic flashlight.
The second one is Joy's Home Environment project. She made a hanging lantern and put ivy in it. Sarah also took this project and made a matching item for their room--she used a spice rack and turned it into an organizer. Joy got champion in their division and Sarah took reserve champion.
This is Sarah's champion project--a Health poster on first aid for bee stings.
