September 20, 2008--Quilt raffle for VOM

I've posted this picture before, and mentioned what I'd like to do with it, but I'm posting it again because our church is finally doing it. We're raffling off this quilt to benefit Voice of the Martyrs. 

 We took it to the Seafood Festival in our town last weekend and I've sold about $50 in tickets so far, but we're hoping to raise around $800 to send to Voice of the Martyrs. I'm also going to be taking it to our homeschool group, sending letters to some of our local churches, and taking it to the Women's Convention in Indianapolis that our denomination puts on in November.

If anyone here would like to buy tickets, PM me. We're selling them for a dollar each, or six tickets for five dollars. The drawing will be November 15th, in time for Christmas.
