Yesterday afternoon we went to visit Merom Bluff. It's a beautiful park
overlooking the Wabash River, and you can see into Illinois.
Here's a
picture from the top of the bluff:
There was a "trail" down the side of the bluff--a staircase, actually. A very steep staircase that was more like a ladder. It was a little scary going down, and more than a little exhausting going back up. Erick and I both said we felt like we dropped twenty pounds on the trip up.
Here's a picture going down. I was behind the others, since I was holding onto Tim's hand the whole way. I was just glad I didn't have to carry anyone!
Here's a picture of the Wabash from up close:
It was such a beautiful day yesterday--perfect fall weather. I wish fall and spring were a lot longer, and winter and summer were a lot shorter.
While we were there at the park, there was a beagle running around who had obviously had pups recently. She was hanging almost to the ground. Timothy saw her and said, "Mom! Look! She has puppy-sucky-thingies!"
