We have wireless internet now!

We actually had signed up
for wireless through the company we already had for dial-up, but the guy came to
install it today and said it wasn't going to work for us. Too many trees--we
wouldn't be able to get a signal from their tower. He then told us that Verizon
has a wireless deal where you plug a little thing into your USB port on your
computer, and if you can get cell phone reception, you can get wireless
internet. Too bad he doesn't work for Verizon.

So we, on the advice of the
Joink installation guy, switched from Joink to Verizon. I'm sure his boss would
be pleased.
Erick went to Terre
Haute and signed us up, and it works great. It took me 75 minutes on the phone
with a tech guy to get our e-mail configured, but that's all finished now. I
invited him to come have lasanga with us as a thank you, but I think he's too
far away. I don't know what state he was in, actually. It would be funny if he
actually showed up. There would be extra, anyway, since Joy's away at camp this
week. Actually, I think I'll just have seconds. I really like lasagna.
I
wish I had more time to explore all the things I can do with fast internet, but
I need to go fix that lasagna. Toodles!
