February 22, 2006--A couple of funnies

Yesterday at work I was order taking in drive-through, and I wasn't really thinking about what I was doing. I was thinking about how we're going to Indiana in just a couple of weeks, and I was thinking, "Yay"! So I read back the order, and gave the lady her total, and I said, "Your total is $4.49 at the window, Yay!" Everyone was like, "Did you just say, 'yay'?"

This morning Abby hurt her foot on something. She showed it to me and said, "I hurt my paw."
I said, "Your paw??"
"Yes," she replied.
"I didn't know you had a paw. I thought doggies had paws."
"Kids and doggies have paws."
"Oh, I see!
