Our house is under contract again! It's contingent upon the lady agreeing to the
cost of utilities. She wants to make sure she can afford them before she buys it
for sure. I guess she's rented before and didn't have to pay utilities. Ours are
pretty normal for the area, so I don't
think it should be a problem. It's
not like they are higher than everyone else's. It's a newer, energy-efficeint
house.
She has already been pre-approved for the loan, so that's good
news. The last time the people couldn't get the financing they needed which is
why they weren't able to get it. I'm excited! The only piece to still fall into
place is a job for Erick. He's going to start applying for jobs now that school
is over. I'll be able to work at Taco Bell until he gets something, so it's not
a big issue, but he's anxious to get something. He gets to play Mr. Mom for the
next couple of weeks, and it's not really his gifting.

We've been
having fun with our short-term role reversal, though. Last night I informed him
after dinner that he needed to clean the kitchen. He gets to have a chance to
watch soaps and eat bonbons all day, and I get a chance to put in my day's work
and come home and get waited on hand and foot.
