November 26, 2004--Cute things my kids said

And now it is time for "Cute Things My Kids Said."; the part of the blog where my kids come out and do cute things.

Erick and I were lying on our bed and talking, and Abby was up there with us, and she was playing with our pillows. I have two feather pillows and Erick has one thick, firm pillow. Abby was talking about them and arranging them, and I mentioned to her that I had two pillows and Daddy only had one pillow. She said, "Oh!" and then got a very concerned look on her face. "Dat not nice." she said. "Daddy need two pillows." I said, "But Daddy doesn't want two pillow. He only wants one pillow." So then Abby said, "You only need one pillow." I told her I wanted two pillows, but she insisted that I should only get one if Daddy only gets one. Kids have such strong feelings about what is fair!

Another one: We were driving somewhere, and Sarah was looking at the clock, and it was 6:03. She asked me what time it was, and I told her it was "six-oh-three." She thought for awhile. I could see the wheels turning. Then she said, "It can't be six-OH-three, becaue "O" isn't a number. It's six-ZERO-three." Very smart!
