As far as we know, whoever did it hasn't come back. They still don't have any clue who did it or why, and at this point they don't know if they will ever found out. The reporter who was going to do a story about it is busy with a bigger story now, so she's probably not going to have time to work on it.
My dad put a sign up in the window of the front door that says it's not a mortgaged house--do not enter without permission from the owner. He's got his own name and number up there if someone needs more information. I went in the house last Saturday, because I was up that way for my sister's baby shower. Everything looked all right inside.
So that's all we know on the house.
Oh, we got baby ducks today! Erick picked some up while in town. Joy begged for the job of taking care of them, and since it's her birthday weekend we gave her permission. She says it's the best presents she's gotten so far. We'll see if she changes her tune about that in a few weeks when she gets tired of having to feed them every day.
