Erick got a new job position! It doesn't have a raise with it, but we're still pretty excited about it for several reasons.
He was a route supervisor over several buildings in Springfield, including Bass Pro Shops, for a cleaning company. Now he is going to do buildings more in our area, and they are going to let him take the company truck home with him. This will save him money in gas costs because he won't have to drive to Springfield in our car. Gas is paid for in the company truck.
He also gets new hours--6-10 pm instead of 2-6 am. That means we get to sleep together! Woohoo! He's usually sleeping during those hours, so we don't get to see him then anyway.
Another benefit is he isn't going to have to deal with this guy he works with from our church anymore who is really hard to deal with and about to get fired. It's been stressing Erick having to fire a friend. He got a new pager, too, so now this guy can't page him 14 times a night (not an exaggeration).
