July 30, 2007--Grandma Elliott

My mom just called to tell me my grandmother in Alaska passed away last night. It really caught me off guard--I just wasn't expecting this yet. I knew she'd been in the hospital off and on, and that she was living in the past (she thought she was living at an Air Force base in Arizona) and everything, but I didn't know she was dying. I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the funeral, but I'd really like to go to support my mom. There are a lot of issues on that side of the family and it's going to be hard for her to go alone. If God wants me to go He'll provide a way.
