My kids love to e-mail their little aunts and uncles, as well
as their grandparents from time to time. They just tell me what to say and I
type it for them as they say it. I save every one of the letters they send and I
love going back over them and reading them.
Here are a few samples of the
letters they've written:
Dear Vivi,
I wanted for my birthday from that
jumprope. I haven't had it yet. It's from six days. We are going camping. I
wanna get a camping chair. When I'm four I wanna get that Blue's Clues cake. Joy
and Jay goed to Vacation Bible School. And Jay was sick. That's just it.
Love, Sarah

Dear Chris,
Me and Jay went to Vacation Bible School.
Yesterday when we went to Vacation Bible School Jay was sick. We all are going
camping for Sarah's birthday. One time at Vacation Bible School I made a pretty
flower. And I made a doorknob thing for my teacher. We played Cows in the Bus. I
made it up. Somebody has to be the bus, and somebody has to be the cow who bees
on top of it and they have to run as far as they can, and then they turn around
and get to the other side.
We got hamburgers yesterday and french fries. And
even some milk. And that's all.
Love, Joy

Dear David,
Me and Joy got
play dough but we lost most of it. And when I just can't wait until I get
something at the Dollar Store. And I want to go to Shoney's sometime. We had
lots of fun at Vacation Bible School. I wish we could come right now. Are you
going to come visit us this winter? I still haven't ripped my doggy. We got a
new pool. I played the Incredible Hulk video game at P.J.s house. I like John at
our church better than P.J., but I like Cody better than John. We swung on a
bicycle handle on a string upside down at Pow Wow. We had Gatorade. And that's
all!
Love, Jay
