May 24, 2005--Timothy's Dedication

We dedicated Timothy to the Lord on Sunday. It was a nice baby dedication, but I was feeling really weird during the whole thing.

Earlier before we went to church my eyes were having an allergic reaction to something, and were kind of red and swollen, so I was looking for some Benedryl or something, and I saw some Sudafed or Nyquil capsules (they were out of the box, so I wasn't sure what they were) but on the back they said it contained an antihistamine so I took a couple and went to church. About half-way through Sunday School I was feeling really funny, and I asked my husband if the green ones were for daytime or nighttime. He told me they were the nighttime ones, and that they contained a sleep aid. I had quite a hard time staying awake through Sunday School and church, and I was afraid I was going to fall down the steps going up the platform. If I'd thought about it I would have had Erick carry Timothy. It was all I could do to stay upright in my high heel shoes going up the platform carrying a baby under the influence of whatever it was I took!

After I got home I ate and drank some coffee and then I felt better.
