We went to the Bacclaurette last night, and it was nice. I really enjoyed the speaker, the kids were pretty well behaved, and it was a good time. There was a tornado warning though, so when it was over we waited until a lull in the rain and then went to a safer building on campus until the warning was lifted, then we went to the dining halls for refreshments. The kids were so tired by the time we got home.
It's still raining. We are still having our open house, but I'm not sure if anyone is going to make it. It rained though the commencement ceremony this morning. Erick looked so awesome in his cap and gown and honors cord. I'm going to try to get pictures up here sometime when I get the film developed. He graduated Magna Cum Laude. There were 137 graduates in his class, and 13 of them graduated with Magna Cum Laude or Summa Cum Laude. I was so proud of him!
We still have a lot of hamburgers. His family is here, so we have a party whether or not anyone else comes or not.
But we've got more food
than even they all can eat!
