October 28, 2007--Family pictures at Walmart

In Jr. Kids' Church this morning, Sycamore Sam was teaching the kids about David taking care of his sheep, and he asked the kids what their favorite animals were. One kid said horses, one said cows, one little boy said a deer. My Rachel piped up and said, "We saw a dead John Deere on the road!" After church we went and got family pictures taken at Walmart. We were planning on getting the disk like we usually do, but they don't sell them anymore. I guess too many people were just getting the disk instead of purchasing the pictures and printing off their own. I was disappointed--I liked being able to post them online (which I guess is a copyright violation too, although I didn't know that) and e-mailing them to everyone. We ended up buying some of the extras so we could get pictures of the kids and of us, even if I won't be able to post them. They just turned out so cute, and it seemed like such a waste of effort to take all their pictures and not buy any of them. It didn't end up costing that much more than usual, especially since Erick gets a discount since he works there.
