September 7, 2005--Best drive-through time

I got a $20 gift card from my boss yesterday for having the best drive-through time for the week. Two other people got it, too: the girl who was doing drive with me and the guy who was on line that day making food with our boss. She's going to be doing this every week until we get our next CER (big inspection) which is due any time.

We didn't get a 100 on our last CER because our drive-through time (time from when the car pulls up to the window from the time they pull away) was 74 seconds. It has to be 70 or under to pass. Saturday, the day we got the gift cards for, we held a 54 second average through lunch rush from 11-2. She also said that if we win week after week, the dollar amounts will go up.

I was going to use it to get some film developed, but Erick says I have to spend it on myself. I'm not really sure what I want, though. I guess that's fair enough, though. When he got $50 for employee of month I made him spend it on himself, too.
