March 13, 2008--Living room

We decided that a new digital camera was an emergency and so we used part of our emergency fund and bought one. It's so skinny! My old one looks big and clunky next to it.

I've been wanting to put up some pictures of our new couches for awhile. These couches were actually from a funeral home. There were several funeral homes owned by the same people, and they were selling some of them so they had some extra furniture they didn't need. We got to pick out whatever we wanted. We got a couch and loveseat, an end table, and two chairs from there.

I've got two pictures here, because one is too dark and one is too light, so I'm hoping you can get a good idea of how things look. I took one during the day with the bright sun streaming through the white curtains and washing everything out, and another one at night with one little lone lamp in the corner, and they are too dark. Still, I think you can get a pretty good idea of how it looks. It's the prettiest livingroom we've ever had.
