December 7, 2007--Funny

So we're getting ready to leave this morning, to go to the Amish co-op I wrote about yesterday. Rachel has her shoes and socks and she's sitting on the couch waiting for me to put them on her. I'm busy getting other things together and I tell her to put her socks on herself--she's nearly five years old, she's plenty big enough to put her own socks on. After telling her this several times and finally telling her she'd better put them on NOW, she said, "Mommy, I'm not just your servant!"
