January 30, 2007--Ministerial license and Handel's Messiah

Erick is going to Indianapolis this morning to take his test to get his ministerial license. This is it--the last step! Well, for this anyway. There are plenty of more steps to take, but it's nice to finally get to this one. My family (as in my parents and siblings and I) are going to be working on putting together a Christmas concert this year and doing a selection from Handel's Messiah. We've done a lot of the songs in the past, and so we're going to brush up on the old ones and learn some new ones and do it with the whole family. We've only sung together once as a family. Before we moved to Missouri, our littlest sister was just a baby. Now that she's big enough to sing, we've got two of the siblings that go to different churches so it makes it more difficult to get us all together to sing together. But since we're back in the area, we're going to try and get something together this year.
