July 24, 2008--Meow!

Jay found a little kitten in the woods today. It's so cute! It's black with a tinge of rust color to its fur. The kids wanted to keep it, so we brought it inside and fed it. She's pretty thin, but she's friendly. The girls have been dressing her up and playing with her all day. They've named her Shadow. I'm allergic to cats, so she'll probably end up as an outside cat, but for now they are keeping her downstairs, plus she doesn't seem to bother my asthma yet anyway. Rachel especially has always wanted a cat.
