So, here's the long-awaited picture of our new van:
We did finance one, finally. I think it'll be okay, though. The payments are only $64 a month and we should be able to pay it off entirely next spring when we get our tax check. It was a little sad to have payments again, but our vehicles were just getting worse and worse. We traded in the two worst ones on this new one and kept the one we bought off Ebay. He got that one running again (it needed a new coil) so we have two working vans now. We bought another bench seat to make this van (it's a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan) seat eight. It is nice to actually push on the gas and go, and push on the brakes and stop, and other small things like that.
So mostly lately we've been busy with 4-H projects. We've got the fair coming up in a week and a half, and we've been trying to get them all done in time. Sarah's still got a ways to go on her skirt. Joy's was nearly done, but we've got to adjust it because it's too big. Jay hasn't even started on his computer project yet, but at least we've got three projects finished so far.
We've also been busy trying to keep up with the weeds in the garden and going to all sorts of events. I think there's been some sort of an event every day this last week except Tuesday. Life is definitely interesting.
