March 5, 2006--Erick's Last Day of Work

Tuesday we leave to go to Indiana for five days. I'm excited! We're going to be at my family's for a couple of days, and we're going to visit Emily on Thursday, and we're going to see Elizabeth and Jason for the first time since they got married (actually, this will be the first time I've met Jason!) and we're going to spend a couple of days at Erick's parents' house. We're taking up a load of stuff and storing it in his grandpa's garage, too. We also have a meeting with Pastor Brent.

Today is the last day of work for Erick. He has already finished the small porch roof, and he's got to get the siding done, but no more working nights for him! WooHoo! Graduation is in 8 -1/2 weeks. Even Erick is starting to feel excited.

I'm excited about being back close to our families again. At least right now I am. We'll see if I still feel the same week after spending a week with them! I know there's been times in the past when we've come back from visiting them and wondered why we wanted to move there when he graduates. I'll let you know if I'm still excited after I come back.

I will miss this church. I love the people here, and the pastor, and I enjoy singing on the worship team. Who knows if I'll get to do that at Delphi or not. At least I can join the choir. I'm a little nervous, too, because it's been so long. There are a lot of people I don't know there now, and more that I don't remember their names.

Well, I'd better not spend all day on here. We've got a lot of work to do in the next
