September 18, 2007--My part

Last night our music minister announced the cast. I'm playing the mother of the girl who looks through the photo album and tells the story, so I'm in about three scenes with that. I'm also in three dances--a country dance, a formal dance, and a hippie dance. Erick got a part, too, even though he didn't exactly sign up to be in the play. We're very short on men (as usual) and she wanted to know if he could play my husband. He's got three lines in the very last scene, so he should be able to handle it. There's also a kiss between them, and when he saw that he said he'd do it. It's going to be a lot of fun.
