March 10, 2007--Missionettes and septic problems

Joy, Sarah, and Abby went to a Missionette's Sleepover last night with 23 other girls from our church. They all drove up to another church and I'm not sure how many churches were involved altogether, but there were a lot of girls there. They had a lot of fun, but it was weird last night not having them at home. I don't sleep as well when some of the kids are gone. Erick was back really late from work, too, so I had to go to bed by myself. Even Jay was out late--he was at my parents' watching a movie. We've been having some beautiful weather the last couple of days. Yesterday it hit 61 degrees! The only problem we've been having is all the huge piles of snow have been melting, and our backyard pond is back and worse than ever. Despite having had our septic system pumped not long ago, things are all backed up again. The ground is so saturated and there is no place for the water to go. If the sun keeps up, and it doesn't rain in the meantime, surely, surely the water will go down!
