October 16, 2007--Cute Things My Kids Said

A little while ago I heard a huge "SPLASH!" in the kitchen. I called out (from another room) "Oh, what'd you do--dump water all over the floor?" Rachel replied, "Noooo." I looked into the kitchen, and she was standing there, at the table, with an empty cup. There was a big puddle of water on the floor under the table. "Yes, you did. Look--there's water all over the floor. Don't tell me you didn't do it!" "I didn't!" She repeated, earnestly. "Look, no water over there", (she pointed across the kitchen) "No water over there, or over there, either. It's all right here, just in one spot!" I guess she had a point. She didn't spill it all over the floor. Just under the table.
